In the village of Davidovići, near Bileća, stands a massive stone cross about 2.5 metres tall, part of a wider medieval necropolis with stećci that spreads across the surrounding slopes.
Solitary stone crosses of this kind are rare compared to classic stećci and represent a distinct form of medieval grave-marking. David's Cross thus rounds out the picture of the Bileća area's rich necropolis heritage, alongside the better-known sites of Grebnice, Vlahinja and the lake shore.
